FVM - Full Vision Measurement

FVM is an accurate measuring system available in two versions. The first version FVM-3D is a 3D system for measuring thickness, profile and surface analysis whereas FVM-3V is a system equipped with three high-resolution progressive scan cameras and a positioning system with automatic focus system for highly accurate measuring control.

The system is primarily destined for laboratory applications.

Among its several benefits stand out a prompt control over wide sampling with quick interventions on the production, the product history and a remarkable reduction in time for controlling and measuring functions compared to traditional tools.

Thanks to its powerful technology it may fulfill various analyses with accuracy up to ± 0,005 mm. The software helps to generate commands or macros able to effect customized measures and acquire new models with Teach-in method in a definitely easy manner.

Today many pieceparts are produced in a highly automated and high-speed manufacturing process. Inspection requirements in such an environment pose many problems, not least the need to separate out defective pieceparts. In high-volume production, the use of manual inspection and control invariably lead to a decision having to be made between having 100% manual inspection on the one hand with an associated loss in manufacturing efficiency or a sample inspection on the other with an associated compromise in output quality. Compromises of this kind can prevent a manufacturing company achieving its full potential  and it can become necessary to re-evaluate a dependence on inefficient and hence costly manual inspection methods.
